We will kickoff our Disrupting Politics Conference on the 22nd of September with a number of amazing guests!
Not only will we talk about current shortcomings of our democratic system but we will also shed light on political innovations, such as “Liquid Democracy”, “Citizen Councils”, and further deliberation initiatives in the political progress during a series of lightning talks. We will conclude our first day with a discussion panel with stellar scholars, researchers and politicians.
The “Disrupting Politics” conference series created in collaboration between a student group from the Technische Universität München, the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), Isabell Welpe, Felix Rösner, Jan Biehler and Thomas Sattelberger, MdB will highlight different types of political innovations that have large potential to bring us closer to the required change. We want to showcase unknown ideas and discuss these with top tier academics, politicians, and entrepreneurs.
